We are proud to announce a new partnership with PQShield to strengthen our solutions on Side Channel Analysis with post-quantum cryptography.
Following a 6-year competition, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) released a selection of PQC algorithms in 2022, which includes CRYSTALS-Kyber, CRYSTALS-Dilithium, FALCON, and SPHINCS+. PQShield actively contributed to this post-quantum cryptography standardisation project, as well as IETF, GSMA, NCCoE, and multiple cryptographic extensions for RISC-V.
PQShield is a key player in establishing global standards and core technologies for post-quantum cryptography, having developed and shipped hardware and software IP that defends against quantum attacks.
This collaboration will enable us to provide a more comprehensive solution to our customers by combining their expertise in quantum-safe cryptography with our proficiency in side-channel analysis. Moreover, eShard will be subjecting PQShield's PQC hardware IP to a thorough evaluation using our best-in-class side-channel analysis tools to further validate the IP for real-world hardware applications and attack types.

βSide-channel vulnerabilities can undermine even the most effective cryptography, so weβre thrilled to be partnering with eShard to help test and showcase the resilience of our hardware IP.β said PQShield CEO, Dr. Ali El Kaafarani. βThis is a maturing field with real-world hardware applications of PQC still in their infancy, meaning collaborations like this go a long way to reassure the wider cybersecurity sector that this hardware is resistant to a wide range of attacks. eShardβs side-channel analysis tools are second to none, and this partnership will enable us to provide even greater assurance to our customers that our solutions are the strongest on the market.β
This partnership is an ideal match, with both parties complementing each other's solutions to deliver the strongest security layer for the world's leading organizations. We have high expectations for the future and will collaborate on a new whitepaper to share our combined expertise on PQC and Side-Channel Analysis. Stay tuned for more exciting news.
